As we raise a glass to the end of Alcohol Awareness Month…

by awitherick on 30 June, 2011

We should take a look inside it…

Did we know that June was alcohol awareness month?  Or did it just pass us by?

How many nights a week do we drink?  It’s great to enjoy- but when do we overstep the mark?

Alcohol costs our communities, and us as individuals dearly.  From the car accidents and fights, through to the weight gain and the health implications.

So make sure you use it sensibly.  This time of year it’s a great accompaniment to a meal or BBQ (As if we have the weather!) but make sure you drink other non-alcoholic fluids so that you don’t dehydrate and regret it in the morning.

So take a chance to see how much you drink, and remember, in many cases, binge drinking is worse…
