Liberal Democrat Cllr Allan Witherick who represents Batchwood Ward said “Whilst I am happy to see at least some of the things up and running I am concerned that if the Council moves too fast it will end up losing a valuable opportunity.”
A tennis programme has also been put in place including sessions for adults and members of the High Performance Tennis Academy based at Batchwood.
Anyone who is interested in playing tennis and joining one of the many sessions run by Leisure Connection on behalf of the Council can call 01727 827667 extension 233. More information about our tennis sessions and facilities is available on the Council’s website.
