Take the kids to the park this Easter!

by awitherick on 31 March, 2012

If you’ve got kids I expect there’s a chance they not let you forget that Easter is coming, even if you wanted to!

Easter Holidays 2nd – 13th April 2012

But entertaining the children this Easter doesn’t have to cost a lot!

There are FREE Play activities for 5 – 12 year olds in 16 Parks and open spaces across St Albans and the District this Easter.

Play in the Parks is an open access play and physical activity scheme which provides children in the community the opportunity to take part in physical activities and explore their abilities and creativity FREE of charge. There will be Sport specific sessions, Arts and Crafts, Drama workshops and Creative Games.

Sk8 with ya m8s will also be at various parks across the district.

The scheme is available to all children aged 5 – 12 years of age although all under 8’s must be accompanied by and adult.  There are opportunities for under 5s as well with the parents directly involved.

For more information on dates and parks please visit: www.stalbans.gov.uk/playintheparks or www.activestalbans.com, contact Beth Tyler at the Sports Development Team on 01727 827667 or email[email protected]
