That’s how much is still available until March 2011 in St Albans to support people in keeping warm and improving energy efficiency.
As part of the Home Energy Scheme many people will have heard that they can get free cavity wall or loft insulation if they are on benefits or over 70. It’s a positive step to try and keep the elderly and vulnerable warm in their own homes through out the winter (and cooler in summer in some cases!).

What many don’t realise is that there is other help on offer which includes a host of different options such as:

New central heating
Replacement gas boiler
Solid wall insulation
Renewable energy
Low carbon technologies
