As the snow falls (well it’s stopped already again now!) we’ve been working hard to try an insure that the roads have been properly gritted.

But we’ve also been looking at other alternatives. Liberal Democrat run St Albans City & District Council has been trialing a new system on the pavement called “Safethaw”. If successful it will be considered for use throughout the county next year.
It might seem small, but all of these little things help to make a difference.
