Local Liberal Democrat County Councillor Allan Siao Ming Witherick has given a grant of £500 to a local anti-bullying project for parents run by Nexus. He said:

“I suffered bullying as a child myself so know the long lasting effects it can have on individuals and their families first hand. My hope is that this grant will help prevent others having to endure the experiences that I did.”

Nexus – the North East St Albans Extended Schools Consortium – is a collaboration of 17 schools working to offer children, young people, adults and families, support through learning, study support and integrated practice.
